§ Challenge

The problem

Riverside TV produces a growing library of original municipal programming — council coverage, community stories, cultural events — but had no destination that did the work justice. Content lived scattered across social platforms. The city needed a branded, accessible streaming home that felt broadcast-quality while remaining maintainable by city staff.

§ Approach

What we did

We designed an editorial, video-first experience: a cinematic hero reel, cleanly organized show categories, and a resilient video pipeline. The visual identity is confident and warm, echoing broadcast media without the clutter. Accessibility was treated as a first-class requirement — captions, keyboard navigation, and screen-reader-tested playback throughout.

All video carries captions and transcripts. Playback controls are fully keyboard-operable with visible focus states, and contrast meets WCAG 2.2 AA against the cinematic dark theme.
